Founded in 2016, the PLYAA board saw the need for a feeder athletic program that would grow as the community grew. Serving the Papillion-La Vista communities, the board works to instill respect, responsibility, and to educate young people on their sport. A part of the Metro Youth Football League, PLYAA has grown to multiple teams per age group, a rookie tackle program, cheer, 7 on 7, and teams that travel out of state. Embracing Coach Williams' 'life program', PLYAA strives to produce quality athletes that succeed in all areas.
In 2022, Papillion-La Vista Youth Athletics also grew to become a part of Jr Monarch Basketball. Working closely with Monarch High School Coaches, the goal is always to deliver quality athletes that love whatever sport they are playing.
With over 200 football players gearing up for the fall season in 2022, multiple grade level basketball teams, and more exciting plans underway, the future truly is limitless for PLYAA.
